Hebrews 12:1-2 (KJV)

12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God

I’m marching on
Into the valley, marching on
I am a soldier, marching on

I’m putting on a different kind of armor
The war isn’t waged against flesh and blood
I’m taking up the Sword of the Spirit
Until the day that the Kingdom comes

I’m protector, defender, and fighter for the truth,
And when my life’s on the line, follow through

So no matter where, no matter when, no matter what

I am a soldier
And it’s love that I’m fighting for
I am a soldier
And the battle belongs to the Lord

Dwell In The Secret place

Psalm 91 King James Version (KJV)

91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

The True Church

Road-Sign-Church-Is-Who-We-Are (2)

I want to start by saying… I do enjoy so very much, a good sermon. I love to listen to a man on fire for God! I just don’t need to hear one on a pre-set weekly schedule. I also do enjoy occasionally attending a service with family members when I visit. I also don’t condemn any that go to church. It is a comfort and need for some. I only want to share my view, which although not popular is my personal walk with Jesus. He made us all different. Which I am thankful.

It just feels like every time I advise others that I am a follower of Christ, they always ask the dreaded question. “What church do you go to?” This has been quite the battle as “Christians” have applied pressure to attend and even condemned me for separating from a weekly “church”. More often than not they think I will not be able to understand how to follow Jesus without a formal pastor or a set of pews. How will I receive sound doctrine? I am not speaking of mature Christians, but the ones with the critical spirit. Well intended I absolutely know it’s well intended. Just agree to disagree.

I often see little fruits in these judgmental professed Christians. But, they are attending a service that talks about Jesus, being taught by a man who has final authority on all things Jesus, so who cares if they don’t go to scripture themselves about how we should bring correction before one another:

Galatians 6:1 King James Version (KJV)

6 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

And from that heart they should correct me.

2 Timothy 3:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Just because it doesn’t align with tradition, doesn’t mean it doesn’t align with scripture

What can I say, nothing about my growth by way of the Holy Spirit has followed conventional customs. I basically had to throw out all the doctrines of man I had grown up learning, and see things with a fresh perspective. The truth is, I only have to answer to Him.

Romans 14:5 (KJV)

5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Romans 14:12 (KJV)

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

So I humbly and prayerfully pass along this great video summary I found, which aligns with how I see it, but said much better than I ever could.

Praise Jesus for my brothers and sisters in Christ!!!! Haleluja!!!

The False “Church System” Deception by Servus Christi

Peace Be Still

Revelation 22:12-14 (KJV)

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

John 14:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments

A Holy Remnant

God is raising a Holy Remnant – by David Wilkerson

In these last days, God is doing a work that will impact the world. He is training a holy remnant that will be solely dedicated to God and His work during these last days. God is raising up a people who are committed to him and his cause who are a holy remnant, and who are steadfast and sure of their God. Eli was judged soft on sin and allowed wickedness in the tabernacle at Shiloh; even his own sons. Today, the church world is a laughing stock because of wickedness in the house of God, there is no power or spiritual authority, no presence of the Lord in many churches. But there is an unseen remnant of people, who would surprise you, because they are not prominent, or well known, but they are shut in with and hearing a word from God. And the word is prepare, for judgment is coming

Under The Law?

Right at the beginning of my blog, there was someone who messaged me multiple times on the heresy of Paul’s teaching in God’s holy word.  I didn’t believe it, the Holy Spirit rejected it.  But I have at times pondered  how such a lie would get traction.  Enough that someone would try to turn me away from Paul’s teachings.  This man wouldn’t relent until I rebuked him in the name of Jesus.

From the beginning of my salvation, Satan has tried every tactic to cast doubt on what I understood salvation to mean.  Jesus has time and again overruled him, but still Satan has tried.

I have been praying constantly for 3 years that I would ever more understand grace.  I want the truth in all things of God and I ask Him for it, and will continue to every day.  I just want to follow Him as He means for me to.  Not according to a religion or by man.  But simply by the Holy Spirit, supported by scripture and prayer.  I do enjoy listening to truly Christ following men, but I still always always always back up what they say with scripture and the Holy Spirit’s confirmation through it.  I never want to fall into a ditch because I hung my salvation on any person.

So I will say that if anyone brings Paul is a heretic before you, don’t listen to Satan’s deception.  Every word of God is truth.  Every single word.  We are to rightly divide it through the Holy Spirit but it is ALL God breathed.

The Paul attackers believe Jesus says we are still under the law.  But the Holy Spirit showed me otherwise.

In Matthew 5 Jesus says:

Matthew 5:17-20 King James Version (KJV)

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

So what is he saying?  He is saying that he FULFILLED the law.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Of course one jot or tittle can not pass away from the law until He fulfilled it.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

He is saying the least of these commandments not those commandments.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:

If you read the whole chapter he is referring to His commands.

Further He clarifies what His command is

Matthew 7:12 KJV

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”

He commands us to love.  #1 most important….Love the Lord your God above ALL things AND #2 love your neighbor as yourself.  He works everything out in us. And if you are sincerely following Christ you don’t stay chained to the law.  You are not able to save yourself by doing enough right.  It also means you can never lose salvation because you struggle hitting the mark, or in other words sin.

The law helps us understand what sin is, but it by no means is our shackle.

Romans 7:7 King James Version (KJV)

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

And yes faith without works is dead because if you say you are following Christ but have no change (no fruits) then it’s evident that Christ isn’t in you.

Galatians 5:22-23 King James Version (KJV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

So reading Romans 6:14 the meaning changes

Romans 6:14

“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

Sin has no dominion because it is not the measure by which you are saved.  So you don’t have to let the fear of not being good enough rob you of the free gift He gave.

Philippians 1:6 King James Version (KJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Those who are under Christ don’t want to sin.  They grieve it.  So I am not speaking to someone looking for a loophole to live a sinful life and get a free pass when you are before the judgement seat.  To love the Lord you can’t love your sin nor make excuses for it.  But if you are beating yourself up because you stumbled AGAIN, take heart if you are leaning into Him, He will work it out, Just have faith.

I am so grateful for The Lord’s wisdom.  It is so precious to me.  I pray that this touches someone else who maybe working out their salvation with fear and trembling as I did and as we should.  I take great joy in my freedom in Christ and I love Him, for His precious gift that I could never earn by following the law.

Galatians 2:21 KJV

“I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”

In faith through the saving work of the Holy Spirit my Father has rescued me from religion and led me to the cross.  I have picked it up daily and will carry it as long as I live.

Even so, come Lord Jesus.
